80' Elco Motor Torpedo Boat:

  • Laid down 23 October 1943 by the Electric Boat Co., Elco Works, Bayonne, NJ
  • Launched 14 January 1944
  • Completed 14 February 1944
  • Placed in service 15 February 1944 and assigned to Motor Torpedo Boat Squadron THIRTY FIVE (MTBRon 35) under the command of LCDR Richard Davis, Jr., USN
  • MTBRon 35 had action in the English Channel area from June to November 1944, when orders were received to prepared the boats for delivery to the Soviet Union
  • The "Hoy Hoy", ex-"Stardust" was transferred to the Soviet Union 4 March 1945 and reclassified TK-432
  • Struck from the Navy list in 1954
  • Fate unknown.
