  • Laid down 25 March 1943 as PC-1461 by the Bellingham Marine Railway and Boatbuilding Co., Bellingham, WA
  • Reclassified PCS-1461 in April 1943
  • Launched 15 September 1943
  • Commissioned USS PCS-1461, 1 February 1944
  • Damaged in collision 23 February 1945 off Iwo Jima
  • Damaged by friendly fire 28 February 1945 off Iwo Jima
  • Reclassified as a Control Submarine Chaser, PCSC-1461, 20 August 1945
  • Grounded 4 October 1945 during Typhoon Louise off Okinawa
  • Struck from the Naval Register 19 December 1945 and destroyed.

  • Draft 8' 7"
