S2-S2-AQ1) Originally authorized as Patrol Gunboat, PG-149; Redesignated a Patrol Frigate, PF-41, 15 April 1943; Laid down 18 June 1943 under a Maritime Commission contract, at Consolidated Steel Corp, Ltd., Wilmington, CA.; Launched 16 July 1943; Commissioned USS El Paso (PF-41), 1 December 1943; Decommissioned 18 July 1946 at Seattle, WA; Sold 14 October 1947. Fate unknown.
