Carson City served the Navies of the United States, the Union of Socialist Republic's and South Korea.
Tacoma Class Patrol Frigate: (MC Type T. S2-S2-AQ1) Originally authorized as Patrol Gunboat, PG-157; Redesignated a Patrol Frigate, PF-49, 15 April 1943; Laid down 18 September 1943 under a Maritime Commission contract at Consolidated Steel Corp, Ltd., Wilmington, CA.; Launched 18 October 1943; Commissioned USS Muskogee (PF-49), 16 March 1944; Decommissioned 26 August 1945 at Cold Harbor, Alaska; Transferred under the Lend-Lease Program 27 August 1945 to the Soviet Union as EK-19; Returned to U.S. custody 1 November 1949 at Yokosuka, Japan; Laid up in the Pacific Reserve Fleet at Yokosuka, Japan; Transferred on loan to South Korea 23 October 1950 as Dumon (PF 61); Struck from the Naval Register 15 September 1972; Transferred outright to South Korea under the Security Assistance Program 1 October 1973. Fate unknown.
