PF-103 Class Patrol Frigate: Laid down 28 August 1962 as PF-103 by Levingston Shipbuilding, Orange, TX; Launched 7 July 1963; Completed 15 May 1964; Delivered 18 May 1964; Transferred to Iran as Bayandor (F 25), 18 May 1964 at Charleston, SC. Fate unknown.
Specifications: Displacement 900 t., 1,135 t. (fl); Length 299' 2"; Beam 32'; Draft 11'; Speed 20 kts.; Complement 133/140; Armament two 3"/50 Mk 34 dual purpose mounts,two 40mm mounts, one Hedgehog (replaced by four 23mm Soviet AA mounts); Propulsion four 6,000bhp Fairbanks-Morse 38D8 1/8 diesel engines, two shafts.
