  • Launched in June 1896

  • Captured by the U.S. Army at Manila, Philippines in 1898
  • Acquired by the Navy 21 February 1900
  • Commissioned USS Quiros (Gunboat No. 40), 5 March 1900 at Cavite Navy Yard, Philippines

  • Decommissioned at Cavite Navy Yard 2 January 1904
  • Recommissioned 2 September 1904
  • Decommissioned at Cavite Navy Yard 11 March 1908

  • Decommissioned
  • Recommissioned 15 August 1917
  • Designated PG-40, 17 July 1920
  • Decommissioned in August 1923 at Shanghai, China
  • Sunk as a target 10 October 1923.
