Action Class Gunboat: Laid down for the U.S. Navy as Splendor (PG-97) at Kingston Shipbuilding Co., Kingston, Ontario, Canada; Launched 1 February 1943; Transferred to the Royal Navy and commissioned HMS Rosebay (K-286), 28 July 1943; Returned to U.S. Navy custody 20 March 1946; Transferred to the Maritime Commission 19 November 1946 for disposal. Fate unknown.
Specifications: Displacement 900 t; Length 205'; Beam 33'; Draft 14' 7"; Speed 16.5k; Complement 90; Armament two 3"/50 gun mounts.
