British River Class Frigate/Patrol Gunboat:

  • Laid down 28 May 1942 as PG-105 at Canadian Vickers Ltd., Montreal, Canada
  • Named Danville
  • Assigned to the Royal Navy under the Lend-Lease Program
  • Launched 9 November 1942
  • Transferred to the Royal Navy 4 June 1943 and commissioned HMS Evenlode (K 300)
  • Returned to U.S. Navy custody 5 March 1946
  • Struck from the Naval Register 5 June 1946
  • Sold in December 1946
  • Fate unknown.

  • Armament: Two 4"/40 mounts, ten 20mm guns, two depth charge track, and one hedgehog depth charge projector
