British River Class Corvette:

  • Laid down as PG-107, 14 September 1942 for the U.S. Navy by Canadian Vickers, Ltd., Montreal, Quebec, Canada
  • Launched 12 December 1942
  • Assigned to Royal Navy under the Lend-Lease Program, transferred to the Royal Navy 19 July 1943 and commissioned HMS Inver (K 302)
  • Struck from the Navy Register 8 May 1946
  • Returned to U.S. Navy custody 15 December 1946 and sold
  • Fate unknown.

  • Draft 13'
  • Speed 20 kts.
  • Complement 107
  • Armament: Two 4"/40 mounts, ten 20mm guns, two depth charge tracks and one hedgehog depth charge projector
  • Propulsion: Two Admiralty 3-drum express boilers, one 5,500ihp reciprocating vertical triple expansion engine, one shaft.
