British River Class Frigate: Laid down 2 October 1942 as PG-108 for the U.S. Navy at Canadian Vickers, Ltd., Montreal, Canada; Launched 30 April 1943; Assigned to Royal Navy under the Lend-Lease Program; Transferred to the Royal Navy 12 August 1943 and commissioned HMS Lossie (K 303); Returned to U.S. Navy custody 28 January 1946 at Boston, Mass.; Reclassified PG-108; Transferred to the Maritime Commission for disposal; Sold 13 November 1946 to Cadio Compania de Navegacion SA of Panama and renamed Teti; Resold in 1955 to Typaldos Brothers SS Co., Ltd. of Piraeus, Greece and renamed Adratiki. Fate unknown.
Specifications: Displacement 1370 t; Length 301.25'; Beam 36.5'; Draft 13'; Speed 20 kts; Complement 107; Armament two 4"/40 mounts, ten 20mm guns, two dct, and one hedgehog dcp; Propulsion two Admiralty 3-drum express boilers, one 5,500ihp reciprocating vertical triple expansion engine, one shaft.
