Gardoqui served the Navies of Spain and the United States.

Gunboat:

  • Built in 1882 for the Spanish Navy by the Manila Ship Co., Cavite, Philippines
  • Acquired by the Navy in 1898
  • Commissioned 2 June 1899
  • Decommissioned 12 May 1900 at Cavite Navy Yard
  • Recommissioned 30 November 1900
  • Decommissioned 5 February 1902 at Cavite
  • Sold in January 1911
  • Fate unknown.

  • Displacement 61 t.
  • Length 69' 3"
  • Beam 12' 7"
  • Draft 4' 9"
  • Complement 13
  • Armament: Two 1-pounders
  • Propulsion: One vertical compound steam engine, one shaft.
