Coastal Patrol Yacht: Built 1903 as Calumet at George Lawley and Sons, South Boston, MA for John W. Hubbard of Hoboken, NJ; Sold in 1906 to Russell Eldridge of New York, NY and renamed Kehtoh; Assigned hull number SP-203 in 1917, but did was not acquired by the Navy; Sold in 1935 to Edward Baletti of New York City and renamed Dixie; Sold in 1941 to the SS Dixie Corp. of New York City; Sold again to Edward Baletti of Weehawken, NJ and renamed Tourist; Acquired by the Navy 23 March 1942 and designated PYc-32; Found unsuited for Navy service and returned to her owner 18 May 1942; Reacquired 7 August 1942; Converted for Naval service at Frank McWilliams Shipyard, Staten Island, NY and Bethlehem Steel Yard at Brooklyn, NY; Placed in service as a Miscellaneous Auxiliary Service Craft, YAG-14, 12 December 1942; Commissioned USS YAG-14, 3 April 1943 at Fleet Sound School, Key West, FL; Decommissioned 11 August 1944; Struck from the Navy Register 22 August 1944 and transferred to the War Shipping Administration for disposal; Sold 22 February 1945 to the Circle Line Co. of New York City and renamed Tourist; Out of documentation in 1952 and believed scrapped.
Specifications: Displacement 185 t.; Length 150' ; Beam 26' 1"; Draft 10' 2"; Complement 32; Propulsion 1,200ihp 4-cylinder triple expansion steam engine, one shaft.
