  • Built 1923 as the yacht Ripple by Germania Werft, Kiel, Germany
  • Acquired by the Navy 1 April 1942 and converted for Naval service
  • Commissioned USS Carolita (PYc-38), 6 November 1942
  • Decommissioned 28 February 1944
  • Struck from the Naval Register 18 July 1944
  • Sunk as a target in January 1947.

  • Length 133' 5"
  • Beam 23'
  • Draft 10'
  • Speed 14 kts.
  • Armament: One 3"/50 dual purposegun mount.
