Coastal Patrol Yacht: Built 1923 as the yacht Ripple by Germania Werft, Kiel, Germany; Acquired by the Navy, 1 April 1942 and converted for Naval service; Commissioned USS Carolita (PYc-38), 6 November 1942; Decommissioned 28 February 1944; Struck from the Navy list 18 July 1944 and sunk as a target.

Specifications: Displacement 236 t.; Length 133' 5" ; Beam 23'; Draft 10'; Speed 14kts; Armament one single 3"/50 gun mount.
