Coastal Patrol Yacht: Built 1914 as yacht Florence D by George Lawley and Sons, Neponset, MA; Acquired by the Navy 4 September 1942 and converted for Naval service; Commissioned USS Iolite (PYc-41), 9 November 1942; Decommissioned 17 June 1944 and placed in service; Placed out of service 2 October 1944; Struck from the Naval Register 14 October 1944; Transferred to the Maritime Commission in 1945 for disposal and sold. Fate unknown.

Specifications: Displacement 200 t.; Length 154' ; Beam 20'; Draft 7' 6"; Speed 10kts.
