SC-1 Class Submarine Chaser: Laid down by the Elco Co., Bayonne, NJ; Commissioned 24 December 1917; Sold 24 June 1921 to Joseph G. Hitner of Philadelphia, PA. Fate unknown.

Specifications: Displacement 85 t; Length 110"; Beam 14' 8.75"; Max Draft (fl) 5' 8"; Speed 18kts; Armament one single 3"/23 gun mount, two .30 cal. machine guns, one dcp "Y Gun"; Complement two officers, 25 enlisted; Endurance 1,000 nm @ 12 kts; Propulsion, three Standard 660 hp gasoline engines, three screws.
