SC-362 was built for France.

SC-1 Class Submarine Chaser: Laid down in January 1918 as SC-362 by the Elco Co., Bayonne, NJ; Transferred to France upon completion in May 1918 as C-56; Sold for scrap 29 December 1939.

Specifications: Displacement 85 t; Length 110"; Beam 14' 9"; Max Draft (fl) 5' 8"; Speed 18kts; Armament one single 3"/23 gun mount, two 7.62mm machine guns, one dcp "Y Gun"; Complement 26; Propulsion three 660bhp Standard gasoline engines, three shafts.
