SC-1 Class Submarine Chaser: Laid down in 1918 by the Gibbs Gas Engine Co., Jacksonville, FL; Transferred to France on completion; Never commissioned in U.S. Navy. Fate unknown.

Specifications: Displacement 75 t; Length 110"; Beam 13' 6"; Draft 6' 3"; Speed 18kts; Complement 17; Armament one 3"/23 gun mount, two .30 cal. machine guns, one dcp "Y Gun"; Propulsion three Standard 660bhp gasoline engines, three shafts.
