SC-387


SC-387 served both France and Italy.

SC-1 Class Submarine Chaser: Laid down in 1918 as SC-387 at The Matthews Co., Port Clinton, Ohio; Transferred to France upon completion in January 1918 as C-81; Seized by the Germans 8 December 1942 at Bizerte, Tunisia and transferred to the Italians; Scuttled 6 May 1943 by the Italians at Bizerte.

Specifications: Displacement 85 t; Length 110"; Beam 14' 9"; Max Draft (fl) 5' 8"; Speed 18kts; Armament one single 3"/23 gun mount, two 7.62mm machine guns, one dcp "Y Gun"; Complement 26; Propulsion three 660bhp Standard gasoline engines, three shafts.
