  • Laid down 6 July 1942 by American Cruiser Works, Riverside, MI
  • Launched 21 November 1942
  • Delivered 12 January 1943 and commissioned USS PC-684
  • Reclassified SC-684 in April 1943
  • Transferred to the Coast Guard 12 January 1946 and commissioned USCGC Air Heron (WAVR 429)
  • Struck from the Naval Register 21 January 1946
  • Sold 10 January 1948
  • Fate unknown.

  • Draft 6' 6"
  • Speed 21 kts.

  • Armament: One 40mm gun mount, two .50 cal. machine guns, two depth charge projector "Y Guns," and two depth charge tracks
