  • Laid down 14 April 1942 as PC-1039 by the Rice Brothers, Rockport, TX
  • Launched 28 July 1942
  • Commissioned USS PC-1039, 15 October 1942
  • Reclassifed SC-1039, 8 April 1943
  • Suffered blast damages 29 January 1945 after Serpens (AK 97) was sunk by explosion of undetermined origin at Guadalcanal, Solomons
  • Struck from the Naval Register 21 January 1946
  • Transferred to the Maritime Commission 9 February 1948
  • Acquired in 1948 by the North Shore Packing Co., Ltd. of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada and named Norking
  • Acquired in 1953 by the Seymour Navigation Co., Ltd. of North Vancouver
  • Acquired in 1961 by Queen Charlotte Fisheries, Ltd. of Richmond, British Columbia
  • Acquired in 1978 by McIntosh Packing, Ltd. of Richmond
  • Acquired in 1987 by Teraco Packing, Inc. of Richmond
  • Acquired in 2011 by Andrew M. Clark of Salt Spring Island, British Columbia
  • Fate unknown.
