SC-497 Class Submarine Chaser:Laid down 11 April 1942 as PC-1054 by Wilmington Boats Works Inc., Wilmington, CALaunched 10 September 1942Reclassified and commissioned USS SC-1054, 6 April 1943Decommissioned 21 February 1946, transferred to the Coast Guard and commissioned USCGC Air Ruff (WAVR 460) the same dayStruck from the Naval Register 12 March 1946Sold 22 January 1948 to Frank A. Sprouse of Coos Bay, OR for use as a fishing boat and renamed Ida-MStranded 23 September 1948 about 10 miles north of the Coos Bay Bar.
