SC-1627 Class Submarine Chaser: Laid down in 1955 as SC-1633 by the South Coast Co., Newport Beach, CA; Transferred to Thailand as SC-32; Reclassified as SC-8; Scrapped in 1973.

Specifications: Displacement 169 t.; Length 119'; Beam 20'; Draft 6.2'; Speed 15.5 kts.; Complement 27; Armament one 40-mm, three 20-mm, one mousetrap, two depth charge racks and two k-guns; Propulsion diesel,
two shafts.
