  • Built in 1907 as Gansetta by George Lawley and Sons Corp., Neponset, MA
  • Renamed Zipalong
  • Acquired by the Navy in the spring of 1917
  • Commissioned USS Zipalong (SP 3), 13 June 1917
  • Decommissioned 27 November 1917 at Philadelphia, PA
  • Returned to her owners in 1918
  • Fate unknown.

  • Beam 11' 2"
  • Draft 4'
  • Speed 15 kts.
  • Complement: Eight
  • Armament: One machine gun
  • Propulsion: One 125hp Standard gasoline engine, one shaft.
