Little Aie (SP 60)


Patrol Yacht:

  • Built in 1915 by the Smith and Williams Co., Salisbury, MD
  • Acquired by the Navy 25 April 1917 and commissioned the same day
  • Decommissioned 25 January 1919 at Philadelphia, PA and returned to her owner the same day
  • Fate unknown.

    Specifications:

  • Displacement 17 t.
  • Length 57' 3"
  • Beam 10' 10"
  • Draft 3' 3"
  • Speed 13 kts.
  • Complement: Nine
  • Armament: One 1-pounder and one .30 cal. machine gun
  • Propulsion: Two 100hp 6-cylinder Sterling gasoline engines, two shafts.
