  • Acquired by the Navy 8 May 1917
  • Commissioned USS Kathrich II (SP 148), 9 May 1917 at Charleston, SC
  • Delivered to the Navy 11 May 1917
  • Decommissioned 6 February 1919
  • Transferred to the Coast Guard 15 September 1919 at Norfolk, VA
  • Commissioned USCGC Dare, 16 September 1919
  • Renamed AB-4 17 March 1923
  • Sold 17 July 1924 to Leon David of Baltimore, MD for $177.77
  • Fate unknown.
