ex-USS Jessamine (SP 438)

Jassamine served both the Navy and Coast Guard.

Patrol Yacht: Built in 1907 by J. M. Bayles and Son, Port Jefferson, NY; Acquired by the Navy in June 1917; Commissioned, USS Jessamine (SP 438), 19 June 1917; Transferred to the Coast Guard 2 December 1919 and commissioned USCGC Javelin; Sold 31 July 1922; Dropped from the Coast Guard Register in 1923. Fate unknown.

Specifications: Displacement 57 t.; Length 90' 3"; Beam 14'; Draft 3' 9"; Speed 13 kts.; Armament, unknown; Complement, unknown; Propulsion two 120bhp 4-cylinder gasoline engines, two shafts.
