Wendy (SP 448)

Motorboat: Built in 1913 by the Jahncke Navigation Co., New Orleans, LA; Acquired by the Navy 1 July 1917; Commissioned 3 August 1917 at New Orleans; Decommissioned 9 December 1918 and returned to her owner the same day. Fate unknown.

Specifications: Displacement 24 t.; Length 55'; Beam 11' 6"; Draft 3' 6"; Speed 9 kts.; Compliment nine; Armament one 1-pounder and one Colt machine gun.
