  • The first Northampton was built by Wilson, Birdsnest, VA
  • Acquired by the Navy 5 May 1917
  • Struck from the Navy Register 19 December 1917 and returned to her owner
  • Fate unknown.

  • Length 38'
  • Beam 11'
  • Draft 2'
  • Speed 8 mph
  • Armament: One 1-pounder.
