Barbara (SP 704)


Motorboat: Built in 1910 by H. H. Linnell, Dorchester, MA; Acquired by the Navy 11 June 1917; Placed in service 21 June 1917 at New London, CT; Placed out of service in June 1918; Struck from the Navy list and returned to her owner 10 January 1919. Fate unknown.

Specifications: Displacement 15 t.; Length 42'; Beam 10' 6"; Draft 3' 10"; Speed 8 kts.; Complement six; Armament one 1-pounder and one machine gun.
