Itasca (SP 810)


Built in 1908 by Stamford Motor Construction Co., Stamford, Conn. was taken over by the Navy from Mr. Henry Henke at Norfolk, Va., 10 August 1917; Commissioned, 18 August 1917. Itasca served as a hospital boat in waters near Norfolk until 26 February 1919 when she was returned to her owner.. Fate unknown.

Specifications: Displacement 42 t.; Length 75'; Beam 15'; Draft 4' 6"; Speed 12.5 kts.; Complement 11; Armament two 1-pounders.
