Motorboat:

  • Built in 1907 by A. Hompe, Spring Lake, MI
  • Acquired by the Navy 26 July 1917 on charter for $1.00 a month from A. Hompe of Grand Rapids, MI and placed in service the same day
  • Returned to her owner 4 March 1919
  • Fate unknown.

    Specifications:

  • Displacement 43 t.
  • Length 75'
  • Beam 14'
  • Draft 3' 7"
  • Speed 8.6 kts.
  • Propulsion: One 72hp 4-cylinder Monarch gasoline engine, one shaft.
