Yacht/Floating Barracks:

  • Built in 1897 by Harlan and Hollingsworth, Wilmington, DE for George W. Weld, Esq. of Boston, MA
  • Sold in 1901 to Edward R. Coleman
  • Acquired by the Navy 21 September 1917 at New London, CT
  • Struck from the Navy Register 6 February 1919 and returned to her owner
  • Fate unknown.

    Specifications:

  • Displacement 184 t.
  • Length 136' 6"
  • Beam 26' 3"
  • Draft 18' 3"
  • Complement 22.
