  • Built in 1916 by the Maryland Steel Co., Sparrows Point, MD
  • Acquired by the Navy 28 June 1918 and commissioned USS Munsomo (ID 1607) the same day at Baltimore, MD
  • Decommissioned 4 February 1919 and returned to her owners
  • Sold to Italy in 1938 and renamed Capo Orso
  • Sunk 16 February 1943 by British aircraft of the west coast of Sicily.

  • Armament: Two 3" mounts
