  • Built in 1913 by Jacobson, Peterson and Co., New York
  • Acquired by the Navy in 1918 from the Coastwise Dredging Co. of New York and placed in service as North Pole (ID 2147)
  • Renamed Floating Derrick No. 45 in 1918
  • Designated YD-45 in 1920
  • Placed out of service in 1929
  • Fate unknown.

  • Boom capacity 10 t.
  • Propulsion: Non-self propelled.
