Helenita served the U.S. Marine Corps, U.S. Navy and the City of Norfolk, VA

Motorboat:

  • The second Helenita was built as Hull No. 927
  • Acquired by the Navy in February 1919 from the Marine Aviation Corps, Azores
  • Named and classified Helenita (SP 2230)
  • Reclassified as a District Patrol Vessel YP-2230, 17 July 1920
  • Transferred 27 August 1920 to the City of Norfolk, VA
  • Returned to Navy custody 1 December 1922
  • Sold 22 June 1923
  • Fate unknown.
