Coal Barge:

  • Built in 1918 as Concrete Barge No. 1 by C. Blankeley, Yonkers, Patchogue, NY
  • Acquired by the Navy in September 1918 and placed in service as Concrete Barge No. 1 (ID 2531)
  • Renamed Coal Barge No. 516
  • Returned to her owner, the Derby Line of New York 28 October 1919
  • Fate unknown.

  • Length 112'
  • Beam 33'
  • Capacity 650 t.
  • Speed non-self propelled.
