  • The first Gladiator was built in 1876 at St. Mary's, GA
  • Commissioned 19 April 1918
  • Decommissioned and struck from the Navy Register 20 December 1918 and returned to her owners
  • Fate unknown.

  • Draft 7' 4"
  • Complement: Seven
  • Propulsion: One Upright boiler, one 200hp steam engine, one shaft.
