  • The first Hampton was built in 1905 as Mary Lee by H. Thurman, Turkey Point, VA
  • Acquired by the Navy in 1918
  • Commissioned USS Hampton (ID 3049), 21 April 1918
  • Returned to her owner 13 August 1919
  • Fate unknown.

  • Beam 19' 4"
  • Draft 6' 3"
  • Speed 9 kts.
  • Complement 12
  • Propulsion: One 150hp verticle triple-expansion steam engine, one shaft.
