Freight Lighter Barge:

  • Built in 1918 by E.I. DuPont de Nemours and Co., Wilmington, DE
  • Acquired by the Navy 26 October 1918 and placed in service as Barge No. 6 (ID 3373)
  • Renamed Freight Lighter No. 148 and stationed at Indian Head, MD in October 1919
  • Fate unknown.

    Specifications:

  • Length 86' 3"
  • Beam 22' 9"
  • Capacity 200 t.
  • Non-self propelled.
