  • Built in 1915 as Captain Dud No. S507 a wooden, pontoon hull, steel "A" frame with a copper sheathed house by S. Flory, Bangor, PA
  • Acquired by the Navy in 1918 from the Thames Towboat Co. of New London, CT and placed in service as Captain Dud (ID 3507)
  • Designated YD-43
  • Assigned to the 5th Naval District (Norfolk, VA)
  • Rebuilt in 1932
  • Placed out of service in 1956
  • Fate unknown.

  • Non-self propelled.
