  • Launched in July 1915
  • Commissioned USS Mariana (ID 3944), 26 July 1918
  • Delivered to the Navy 28 July 1918 at Baltimore, MD
  • Decommissioned 4 April 1919 at New York and returned to the United States Shipping Board for return to her owner
  • Torpedoed and sunk 5 March 1942 by German submarine U-126 east of Nassau, Bahamas at position 22°14'N, 71°23'W
  • There were no survivors from the 36-man crew.
