  • Built in 1899 at Russel and Co., Port Glasgow, Scotland for Fratelli Cosulich of Trieste, Italy
  • Launched 8 Decenber 1899
  • Sold in 1906 to Union-Austriaca di Nav
  • Acquired by the Army 27 September 1917
  • Acquired by the Navy 9 January 1918 at Newport News, VA and commissioned USS Teresa (ID 4478) the same day
  • Decommissioned 9 July 1919 at Philadelphia, PA and returned to the United States Shipping Board the same day
  • Sold in 1923 to G. Perivolaris of Chios, Greece and renamed Demokratia
  • Renamed Phoenix in 1932
  • Scrapped 14 November 1932 at Genoa, Italy.
