  • The first Diligence was laid down in 1792 at Washington, NC
  • Sold in 1798
  • Fate unknown.

    Specifications:

  • Displacement 40 t.
  • Complement 10
  • Armament: Ten muskets with bayonets, 20 pistols, two chisels and one broad axe
  • Propulsion: Sail.
