  • Laid down in 1932 by Leathem D. Smith Dock Company, Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin
  • Commissioned USCGC Cherry 19 May 1932
  • Designated WAGL-258 in 1942
  • Decommissioned 1 December 1964
  • Sold 20 May 1965 to the Government of Suriname
  • Fate unknown.

    Specifications:

  • Displacement 254 t.
  • Length 86' 3"
  • Beam 26' 3"
  • Draft 9' 6"
  • Speed 9 kts.
  • Complement 10
  • Propulsion: One 350bhp Winton diesel engine (Replaced in 1950 with one General Motors diesel engine), one shaft.
