  • Built in 1921 by Consolidated Shipbuilding Corporation, Morris Heights, New York
  • Launched 18 June 1921
  • Commissioned USCGC Oak (WAGL 239) 28 December 1921
  • Placed "in commission in reserve" due to a lack of personnel soon after the end of World War II
  • Returned to full commission on 19 August 1949
  • Decommissioned 6 November 1964
  • Donated to the Smithsonian Institution 3 March 1967
  • Fate unknown.
