USLHT Clover
ex-USLHT Two Myrtles


Light House Tender:

  • The third Clover was built as Two Myrtles in 1899 by Burger and Burger, Manitowoc, Wisconsin
  • Purchased by the Lighthouse Service in 1908 and commissioned USLHT Two Myrtles
  • Laid up in 1911 and rebuilt with new boilers
  • Renamed Clover in 1912
  • Rebuilt again in 1932
  • Decommissioned in 1935
  • Sold 25 May 1935
  • Abandoned in 1946.

  • Length 88'
    1932 - 93'
  • Beam 22' 10"
  • Draft 7' 1"
  • Complement: Seven
  • Propulsion: One coal fired boiler, one 100bhp steam engine, one shaft
    Renewed one boiler and added additional boiler in 1932
