Freighter: Built in 1913 as Lewis K. Thurlow by the Newport News Shipbuilding and Dry Dock Co., Newport News, VA; Acquired by the Navy 25 November 1918 at Barry Docks, Wales and commissioned USS L. K. Thurlow the same day; Decommissioned 27 March 1919 at Philadelphia, PA and returned to her owner. Fate unknown.

Specifications: Displacement 3,178 t.; Length 313' 6"; Beam 46' 1"; Draft unknown; Depth of hold 22'; Speed unknown; Complement unknown;
