  • Laid down, 18 January 1945, as a Maritime Commission type (S4-SE2-BE1) hull, under Maritime Commission contract (MC hull 1902) at Welsh-Kaiser Co. Providence, R.I.
  • Launched, 28 March 1945
  • Commissioned USS Selinur (AKA-41), 21 April 1945, LCDR. W.F. Babcock, USNR, in command
  • During World War II Selinur was assigned to the Asiatic-Pacific Theater
  • Decommissioned, 30 April 1946, at San Francisco, CA., and simultaneously returned to the Maritime Commission >li>Loaned to the Pennsylvania Maritime Academy, renamed TS Keystone State
  • Struck from the Naval Register, 8 May 1946
  • Returned to the Maritime Commission, 20 June 1947 for lay up in the National Defense Reserve Fleet, James River Group, Lee Hall, VA.
  • Final Disposition, sold for scrapping, 15 July 1968, to Northern Metals Co., Philadelphia PA.
