  • Converted to High-speed Transport and redesignated USS Talbot (APD-7), 21 October 1942
  • Reverted to Destroyer (DD-114), 16 July 1945
  • Decommissioned, 9 October 1945
  • Struck from the Naval Register, 24 October 1945
  • Final Disposition, sold for scrapping, 30 January 1946, to Boston Metals Co., Baltimore, MD.
  • Talbot earned eight battle stars for World War II service
