  • Designated to the US Navy, 4 July 1942, renamed Pocahontas
  • Delivered to the Maritime Commission and transferred to the US Navy, 31 December 1942
  • Placed in service, 16 March 1943, as Harbor Tug Pocahontas (YT-266), allocated to the 11th Naval District, at San Diego, CA.
  • Redesignated Large Harbor Tug YTB-266, 15 May 1944
  • Reallocated to the 12th Naval District at San Francisco in 1946, Mare Island Navy Yard
  • Reallocated to the 11th Naval District, at San Diego in 1955
  • Redesignated YTM-266 in February 1962
